I was born and raised in California. I spent my early years in the Santa Cruz area and formed a love for the ocean and coast. Later, I moved to the Sierras, where I developed a deep and endless appreciation for more outdoor passions. I spend my winters on the snow, snowshoeing with my dog and best friend and the summers are spent on the numerous truly breathtaking Sierra lakes in my kayak. I love the outdoors and try to spend as much time as possible hiking and stargazing. I feel very relaxed and comfortable in my mountain setting. I still catch my breath every time that I'm able to watch a spectacular sunset, and seeing an enourmous full moon always stops me in my tracks! The outdoors have helped to shape, form, and make me proud of being the person that I am today.
I am also an avid gardener. One of my favorite flowers to plant and watch grow is the Dinner Plate Dahlia. It's amazing and sometimes hard to believe how something that starts off in such a tiny, brownish mass, can turn into something so gigantic and beautiful; it never ceases to take my breath away! I always try to have an abundance of vegetables and flowers growing in my garden. The garden is both a peaceful and relaxing place for me to escape and let my brain cool down. It is not unusual to see the occasional bear feasting on my planted goods. The deer, too, seem to always be waiting in the wings. While this could be intimidating ( frustrating sometimes ) to some, I both respect and enjoy watching these amazing animals, from a safe, very safe distance.

My other great passion is in the kitchen. I love to bake and have dedicated much time in trying to perfect this craft. I believe this desire began as a young girl watching my father bake biscuits for his girls ( my Mom, my sister and myself ) on Sunday mornings. I have taken many professional classes from the Ramekins Culinary School in Sonoma to The Greystone/Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena and as far away as the Santa Fe Culinary School in New Mexico. I will hopefully continue and be able to learn and apply the art of pastry and baking in my life. Even if it's just to flood my neighbors, clients, friends and family with my baked goods, I believe this and keep it as one of my forefront goals.

I have been a practicing Certified Massage Therapist, specializing in Sports Massage/ Traditional Reflexology since 1993. In learning my craft I was pulled aside by a very wise and insightful man who was my teacher; he believed that I had an intuitiveness that was just waiting to be discovered. And that all I had to do was to have faith and to "believe". He was so sure of this ability, so positive that it was there inside of me, just waiting to be unlocked. And guess what? He somehow knew... and he was correct: I just had to trust and believe in what I was feeling and then it just started; I was able to tap into this gift. And over these many years, I have been able to apply this intuitiveness into a unique massage practice by having the capability to "read" a persons body. This is now a regular part of my massage appointments, with my clients knowing and sometimes trying to challenge me on what I will find within their bodies.
But then something changed almost five years ago. No, there were no lightning strikes or anything as dramatic as that. It just plopped down literally while I was working on one of favorite clients. And I instantly knew, that my gift was being taken to the next level. My biggest challenge was just believing in what had been handed to me and trying to find the best way to share this gift. I believe that I have achieved that goal and I never take "it" for granted. And with every single session, I am ALWAYS thankful and amazed. I love being able to help form a communication bridge... with the people that you long to reconnect with( not uncommon for me get animals, too ) who have passed!

My Mom, Martha, Me and My sister, Elaine
Along with all of the things I've listed above as being so important in my life, I've yet to list the most valuable of All! My family and my friends! My Mom is my life, My sister is my inspiration, My friends are what keep me being thankful, every single day!
One of the greatest prides that I possess is for the phenomenal work that my sister does. She has been working with Hospice Services for years. The joke between us is that she leads them to the door, and I bring them back to chat! I have the UTMOST respect for what she does and has done for her patients, and I am always, completely humbled by what she, her nurses and staff do through the Hospice Services on a 24 hour daily basis. Such giving should never be taken for granted!
I BELIEVE THIS!

I met Katy years ago when she first came to me as a client to my sports massage practice. Katy is a first class athlete, a runner who has been able to take her passion and actually travel around the world with her running! It didn't take long for the two of us to click immediately and ever since then, I'm proud to say that Katy has become one of my closest friends. I consider her and her family, my family! She was an exceptional concierge for the Ritz Carton Hotel. It is second nature to her to make you feel at ease and as comfortable as possible.
She is a true professional in every sense of the word and I'm so very lucky to have her helping me and I believe that you too, will discover this. Katy is an unmeasurable asset in helping me with what I do! She has believed, encouraged, and given me unlimited support during this journey. I would not have made it this far with out Katy, Dan, Hannah, and Heidi!
