October 2006, Breathtaking view of the Ebbetts Pass Valley!

1.  Can you see the people that have passed?

NO!  I don't see anyone floating around.  I don't get any kind of silhouette hovering over you or I. Never anything even remotely as mystical or trippy as that.  No visions of a see-through person.  No smoke or mist.   Nope.  What I DO get is their presence...I can "feel" their body types.  I've been told from time to time that I will take on their postures or even their mannerisms, but it is ALWAYS  my mind and my body!

2.  Can you hear them?

NO!  I don't hear them, but I can get different sounds from their memories of important sounds that they can place into my brain.  I can somehow "know" how their voices were... soft, loud, gruff, giggly, scratchy, quiet, sultry, bold.  I can get all of their characteristic's that they choose to show me, but it's not like I have Verizon, or Cincular helping achieve a clear connection to their words.  It's not uncommon for me to ask people who are about to have a session, to write down some questions that they'd like to have answered... and I have yet NOT to have most of those questions answered for you, usually before the paper with the written questions is even brought out!  Okay, to be completely honest, there was this one lady who had all her questions ready and truly we had covered just about everything that she was trying and hoping for, in regards to the clarification of the questions that she had wriiten and brought with her.  With the exception of one last question:  she was trying to find out the "mystery" ingredient of her Grandmothers stew!  I tried, LORD knows I tried, but I just couldn't get Granny to give up that mystery secret ingredient!

3.  Do I feel them?

Yes, but not the same way as if I were to place my hands on your shoulders.  I can feel their body types; I can feel their emotions; I can feel their personalities, in other words, I can feel what made them be the person that they were!  I can taste their favorite tastes ( everything from cigars, to throat lozenges, to peaches, to applesauce,and of course, the gentleman who loved canned sardines!  Could have done without that one! ).  I can smell what they want me to smell, I can close my eyes and envision their favorite locations.   This is one of the reasons I love being able to read children that have passed!  I love being able to be part of and experience  their playful,  precocious, sometimes sneaky, and always unpredictable, personalities!  I LOVE being able to help the children reconnect!

4.  How long do they stay with me?

Well, that's a very cool thing, because they seem to know when I'm getting tired ( let's say after a full day of readings ) and they just know when enough is enough.  I rarely if ever, will have a passed on person who wants to hang out with me.  But I do get "hints" of them every once in awhile, which I love.  For instance, there is a special boy who lived in Colorado... there will be times when he will "pop" into my brain.  If I hear a song he must've loved, if I'm watching a certain basketball game, when I hear someone say his brother's name... he will somehow tap into my brain,  and I'll get a memory that I know with complete certainty, that it's HIS memory I'm experiencing, not mine!  And from him, I receive not only a sense of thankfulness, but also of respect towards me... then I'll just know that it's him!  I think one of the things I take most pride in, is that I seem to be able to have a steel, strong connection with most children that have passed.  There are a few boys who I feel are always looking either over my shoulder, or watching my back.  I can't explain it, and honestly don't even try to anymore. 

 Another example... one boy, Steven.   I'm lucky and blessed to be able to see his family on a fairly regular basis.  I KNOW when Steven has "popped" into my brain, because I instantly can "feel"  his playfulness, his infamous and melting grin, and most importantly, I can feel his love that swarms over his family.  It fills me with such comfort, knowing that while I don't and won't get any special kind of "protection" or "favors" against what life undoubtedly throws at ALL of us, just because I'm a "medium"... it does provide me with an extremely peaceful feeling, knowing that I am being watched over and cared for, too.

5.  Do I ever get anyone for me?

Nope!  Nada!  Zip!  And I've lost some very close people in my life that I loved endlessly... my father passed away, my father-in-law, family members, close friends, patients, my dogs... I GET NOTHING FOR ME!   But that's okay.  I think in " the rule book " , I'm not supposed to be able ( yet ) to have one on one time with the people that I've loved and lost.   My plate is pretty full handling all of your people!

6.  Can I tape and record these sessions?

Absolutely!  And I encourage note taking.  It's not surprising for ME to start grabbing a pad of paper, and starting to write things down, drawing out structures, buildings, or houses and I'm not an artist by ANY means, so please... no judgement, be kind.  Just trying to tie words, names, places together, anything to try and help clarify the messages that they are trying to get through to you!  That's why sometimes having someone with you ( family members, close friends ) is a nice addition to your session, because it's not unusual for you to be bombarded with information!  Believe me, it can be overwhelming!

Imagine a test.  And you're so confident that you know this one subject like the back of your hand!  You sit down to take the test that you know you're going to pass with flying colors... but guess what.  It turns out that what is put in front of you is the biggest, longest, most detailed pop quiz, of every subject within the boundries of your life and of your brain.  Yeah, that's what it's like!  So sometimes it's really nice to have someone with you, to take those notes, remind you of events you might not be remembering at that exact moment, to laugh with you, cry with you, and be amazed with you!

So many questions... but I will do my best to set your mind at ease that what I am giving to you, is the purest, most amazing experience.  This is not only for you, but for me also!  I encourage you to call or email my assistant, Katy, as she explains the sessions with the most perfect visual and mindeasing explanations!  You can place your trust and BELIEVE in her, as hopefully you will trust and in me. 

Katy has seen firsthand on many occasions, when a person will enter in or start their reading with me, and how they are AFTER a session!   I've actually seen where she has sat with a person after a session, and helped them get their notes together. with Katy grabbing the pen and writing down ... reaffirming everything that they just experienced...  or just listening and acknowledging, sharing empathy and gentleness.  She is one of the MOST compassionate persons I think I will ever know in my life time!

She is an off the charts wife to her husband, Dan.  Mother of two amazing girls, Hannah and Heidi ( whom I couldn't love more! ), and without Katy's help, guidance, encouragement and strength, I honestly don't know if I'd be where I am today.  I trust her completely with this gift and honestly, with my life.  Believe me, this is all true!
